Connected artifacts

Provenance is native to on-chain digital artifacts, which ensures that the journey of art through time always connect back to original.

This makes derriverative works especially interesting to me.

ROBNESS is a kind of artist that often shows up with new things. He certainly surprises me more often than not. In May 2022, he released Desktop Statue Systems Limited, a collection of statues sculpted by AI (Midjourney). He created 40,000, handpicked 11,111 which made it to the collection.

I collected two, one being DSSL #963.

I don’t know why, but with some art pieces I collect, I feel the urge to have a play.

So I got to work - I knew I wanted to bring music into it.

Amongst my previous creations $YNTH #21 stood out. I wanted to liquify the background of the statue, but still keep it rhough, somehow.

I liked the result. Didn’t mint it. Maybe someday.
